Diaconate News
The Diaconate shared a welcoming pizza meeting with our new Deacons, and we
introduced several facets of Diaconate life.
We are fast approaching a busy time of year. The Deacons are hosting the Shrove
Tuesday Pancake Supper on Tuesday, March 8 at 6:00 for all members of the church.
Please join us for an evening of fun and fellowship before the Lenten season begins. The
Ash Wednesday Communion Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on March 9. We are also
looking ahead to Holy Week, including Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, the
Easter Vigil at Ashlar Village and Easter Sunday.
The Stephen Ministers are planning a training session for Deacons interested in developing
skills for visitation.
