Pumpkin Night--All Hallows Eve

Pumpkin Night--All Hallows Eve was a spectacular and spooktactular night at First Church! A creative group of people carved pumpkins, which were lit and placed on the front steps of the church.

The Sanctuary was decorated to mysterious effect.

Some of our young people handed out candy to children passing by, and encouraged them to come and carve a pumpkin.

At 7:30 p.m., Kyle Brazauski and Jeanette Gross offered the "Dracula Suite"--a concert of organ and piano music--as concert goers sat in candlelit darkness. Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D Minor completed the evening.

This was so much fun, and it was great to have people stop into our church for music and just to enjoy the display!

Many thanks to the Music Committee, Jeanette Gross and Kyle Brazauski, and all those whose helping hands created such a special event.
